What is wire wrapping or wire sculpting? top
Using gold filled, sterling silver, copper, brass, or craft wire, and hand tools, such as; flat nose pliers, chain nose pliers, round nose pliers, and flush cutters, a cabochon or bead is wrapped in part, in full, or in a pattern. This is all done by hand, without any solder or glue. Sculpting is accomplished by using the fingers to manipulate the wire to make swirls.
